REIV members: current CPD cycle
Complete 10 hours of CPD each REIV year (1 April to 31 March) — 5 hours delivered by REIV and up to 5 hours from external providers.
REIV members already have a live CPD cycle — a universal scheme is still to come. Victoria doesn’t yet have a universal statutory CPD requirement for every licensed agent. REIV members already complete an annual April-to-March CPD cycle, and Consumer Affairs Victoria has announced a separate mandatory scheme for all estate agents and agents’ representatives from 1 April 2027.

There is currently no universal statutory CPD requirement, so non-REIV licensees aren’t assessed against REIV’s member cycle.
Consumer Affairs Victoria has announced annual CPD for all licensed estate agents and agents’ representatives from 1 April 2027, including written assessments. Full detail is still to be published.
